These books will be used to create a classroom library where students can choose books to supplement their reading skills. They will be able to choose books related to their interests. This will provide them the opportunity and access to multiple books daily rather than waiting until school library day. The books will also engage students in learning about different genres such as graphic novels, narratives, nonfiction, and historical fiction. This classroom library will support learners in strengthening their fundamental reading skills such as fluency, making inferences, vocabulary, and understanding themes.
