Third-grade students will learn to play a beginner musical instrument, called a tonette, this year. Since students cannot play instruments indoors, we need to take our learning/playing outdoors with music stands. For some students, this will be their first experience learning an instrument and music theory. I hope this endeavor will help each student appreciate music always. Music stands can help make children love music; maybe even inspire them to write their songs. Learning, practicing, and playing an instrument outdoors, will be an excellent opportunity for all.
