The microscope will help me teach students about the structure of things that are too small to see with the human eye alone. It will also teach about staining techniques to better visualize varied objects and understand the purpose and function of a binocular compound microscope. Understanding will lead deeper into the concepts about the properties of light and the physics behind lenses and mirrors. The total understanding of the microscope will leave lasting impressions and build/bridge gaps that will remain with the students many years past the 7th grade school year.

About my class
