I chose some sensory items for my students my students because several of them struggle with autism as well as ADHD. These sensory toys help build connections in their brain as well as giving them an opportunity to use their hands. My students are very task oriented and do well with multi-sensory education so I believe they will be helpful in my room. I also chose some lighting so I can keep the overhead lights off in my class, which can cause overwhelmed senses. Lastly, I chose some alternative seating to give my kids space to read besides their desks.
