I am a teacher who is passionate about teaching. I love seeing my students eyes light up when they have 'aha moments' about what we are learning. As a teacher of Reading Intervention classes, I want to help my students to become critical thinkers. Each day students will have an opportunity to use the Chromebook to log in and practice the Reading comprehension skills that they struggle with most frequently. I would also be able to use this computer to project a mini lesson during my small group instruction. I would be able to get immediate feedback as they work independently as well. Students would also be able to set reading goals and reflect on their own learning in our After school tutorial groups.
