Given the state and struggle of our current culture, our students are coming to school less equipped than ever to deal with everyday obstacles. I think most parents are doing their best but may also have a limited skill set when it comes to mental health tools. Social-emotional learning has become paramount in a student being able to focus on the task of being a student. This project will allow me to assist students in learning basic self-regulation and life skills they need to learn and succeed. I believe these skills to be the building blocks of being our best selves.

About my class
