Flexible seating will provide the students with comfortable seats for the long school day. Making sure the students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. I want my students to have the opportunity to choose comfortable seats because seven hours is a long time to be sitting in hard, plastic chairs. When students have the opportunity to choose seats, they will remain focused and engaged. Currently the only available seats are the typical, hard plastic chairs. Once my goal is met, every student will have comfortable seats!
