Flexible seating will allow my students to incorporate movement into their independent learning time. Offering a variety of seating options that give different movement opportunities will help my students be more successful in the classroom. Sitting in regular classroom seats for long periods can be very difficult for students. Right now, the only options I can give them is to sit in their seats or stand behind their desks. They are limited on how much movement they can currently do due to spacing and not having appropriate seating options that would accommodate a need for movement.
