I am requesting a colorful rug for my students to sit on while listening to stories read aloud. My students love to listen to stories read aloud to them that sometimes take them to far away imaginary magical places! A carpet will provide a comfortable, colorful and magical learning environment for my students to listen to read aloud stories. By donating, you will also be helping my students be able to read their own stories independently, with a partner and in small groups on a carpet. This will help develop and improve their reading. Your donation will help create a positive, creative, reading environment, which will help spark excitement and joy in reading.
