My dream is to help my students even further by equipping each room with a vibrating pillow. This pillow vibrates when pushed against tommy and has a tremendously successful rate of calming students down. Each of our classrooms has a "Calming Corner" but these are not well equipped. Not only our students who need to quickly regulate their emotions will be helped but the whole school building will benefit from experiencing less stress and anxiety which is so detrimental to a learning day. These vibrating pillows will stay in the individual classrooms and cannot be shared among classes for cross-contamination reasons. Students will be able to use their class pillow at a Calming Corner as needed during the school day. After calming down, students will be able to quickly settle back to their learning objectives and be successful in controlling their emotions.
