Students have varied sensory responses. The items I am seeking will support many students across all elementary grade levels. The headphones help students who may become easily distracted drown out classroom noise. The Lap pads give students who seek pressure and touch a way to fulfill that need appropriately in the classroom. The bands help students ground themselves and manage excess energy. These tools will help students become aware of and manage their sensory needs in a positive and appropriate way. Once these needs are met, students are able to more active participants in the classroom and complete more tasks.

About my class
