The titles selected in this project will give students an opportunity to practice and teach good fluency skills to elementary students. Students will share their love of reading and demonstrate good fluency with book buddies at the elementary level. Older reading role models will encourage young readers to practice good fluency and enjoy reading with others, while also building confidence in their own reading fluency. There are a number of art supplies listed in this project, as well, to be used for engaging students in after reading projects. Students will build fluency skills, a love for reading fiction and develop lasting friendships throughout the school year!

About my class
