The supplies from the wishlist will make a difference in my students lives. Right now, we know that our students have suffered learning loss as a result of the pandemic. It is time to put a plan in place to get our scholars on track. This can be done by strategically planning to target the reading deficiencies we have observed and attack them head. Having hands on reading manipulatives that address phonemic weaknesses will help as I teach guided reading. I go into five classes or more daily to teach guided reading and or work with small groups of students. When I go into classrooms, the teachers may be using the kidney table so I have to create a space for my groups. The wobble cushions will provide a quick fun way to transform and create a space for reading and skills practice. Please help me to help meet my students where they are and create hands on small skill groups to propel them to where they need to go! Onward!
