My students are in need of clear lines to define need their own place to sit or stand on. They can use these carpets to sit, stand and move on. This can help them to not fight over a place in the room. Each student will have their own special place on a carpet and know that no one else can be there. I have a very challenging class that really needs this desperately. My Principal and I agree that these carpets would really help. I also thought that hula hoops would give them spatial reference. Since our school just had a fire in the front of the building, students have been on edge, though the music room was not damaged. There was no Music teacher for much of last year and many students did not come to school because of Covid. Having these carpets will help the students maintain social distancing. I hope you see the great need for these new carpets. The school was built in the 1980's, so new carpets for the students would help make the room a more safe and engaging learning environment.
