This school year, it is recommended that we assign as much digital work as possible, in the event that students have to quarantine at home. They will need access to the curriculum. Using an iPad and an Apple pencil allows me to write directly on their work and give them feedback. Using an iPad and Apple pencil, students will be engaged and focused during our daily lessons. Using an iPad, I plan on beginning a lesson by screen sharing the work to be completed by my students, modeling what is expected, and sharing examples. This technique will help students understand what is expected of them during independent practice. Also, reflecting on the feedback they'll receive on their corrected work, students' will be able to learn from their mistakes, and focus on correcting their errors.
