We have a large number of students that are struggling with regulating their emotions in our school setting. These students include both special education and regular education. I am collecting tools for six employees at the school, including myself, that work on a daily basis with students that are escalated in their behavior. We will have a tool kit in either a fanny pack or backpack to pull from wherever we are in the building. These tools will assist us in helping students to calm down and return to their classrooms so that they, and their classmates can continue learning. We will also use some of these items in a calming room.

About my class
