Boomwhackers are a fantastic musical tool that helps develop young musicians. These lightweight tubes are accessible to almost all students which would provide an opportunity for students to easily create music with their peers. These instruments will be regularly used by every student in each grade level. Since Boomwhackers are made out of plastic, these instruments can be easily cleaned to remove germs and viruses like COVID-19. These plastic tubes can be wiped down after each use and after school gets sanitized by the janitorial staff. Help me provide a safe musical experience for students in this pandemic where so much has already been taken away. These students deserve to experience music in a safe environment.
