Parental involvement is a general term that describes parents' participation in their children's education and activities. Parental involvement not only enhances academic performance, but it also has a positive influence on student attitude and behavior. Studies have shown that this helps in a child's education and can affect the child's attitude toward school, classroom conduct, self-esteem, absenteeism, and motivation. Parental involvement is essential for student development and offers many benefits. Parent involvement in education is crucial. No matter their income or background, students with involved parents are more likely to have higher grades and test scores, attend school regularly, have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school.
