Staying on task is hard in first grade! Having different conversations and noise while trying to focus makes it even harder! Granting my students a personal set of headphones will help them improve their reading skills! Their computer time is solely spent on reading resources in which they have to hear what their screens are displaying. Without headphones, it is hard for students to hear their computers and stay focused. On the other hand, having headphones will help the classroom to remain quiet which will positively impact those who are working one on one with the teacher. Please consider donating to my classroom to help my students!
