These students will use the metronome and tuner to reflect on their practice as musicians and implement changes based on their own reflection in or out of the classroom. The metronome will act as an anchor freeing students' minds to focus on other skills such as intonation, rhythmic accuracy, and musicality. The metronome and tuner when used consistently will change the tempo of students' actions in class. These two tools will greatly change how my students live as musicians function in our classroom environment. The greatest benefit of all is allowing space for students to think critically and reflect on their performances in concurrence with these two tools.
