I teach in Alief ISD. I am writing this letter in hopes of receiving a small donation of headphones for my fourth grade students. As the years have passed district has required more of our class work and district test to be online. With this being the new norm, my students are having to bring in headphones to be able to complete work. Often times, this does not work out too well. Our school is considered to be a low-income. The majority of my students are on reduce/ free lunch. Very often do we supply the students who attend our school with uniforms, backpacks and school supplies. With that being said, supplying headphones as well has been quiet the struggle. My students and I are in need of headphones to help towards our daily activities and to complete district assignments. I feel that my class is deserving of headphones to aid them in a better learning environment. I’ve attempted to buy head phones for my students in the past and replacing them were a battle as well. The support from you would mean the world to my class and I. With receiving this donation, you would be assisting in a great school year. My wish for my students would be for their only worries in class is to do their best and achieve all of their goals. I do not want them down and out about missing school supplies, including head phones. Thank you for your time and generosity, Miss R and her FEARLESS FOURTH graders!
