This project will help me give my students an environment that is bright and full of color. Children deserve to come to a classroom where they are welcome and anxious to learn. The materials are to help me and my co-teacher build an already amazing classroom even more inviting and more exciting. The speaker will help us with music and movement as well as outside play time so they can play while listening to their favorite songs. Music and movement instruction has been shown to improve children's memory, cognitive development, learning skills and expressive ability. ​The speaker will also be used as an extension of the classroom for performing arts, gross motor games and learning opportunities to maximum listening. Students who sing, dance, play, or act tend to have enhanced cognitive, motor, and social development. Getting up on stage and hearing the applause at the end of the performance will enrich the students thinking and doing. The cleaning supplies will help give me the resources to give my students a safe and clean environment. Being in a clean and healthy environment helps children's learning development. It also helps and prevents children's from getting sick and staying safe. The snacks are for encouraging families to come out and enjoy a family fun day and spend time with their children and their teachers. I am trying to give my students the best learning environment possible because the early years are the most important years in a child's life. I am an intentional teacher and I will always try my best to make an impact on a child's life!
