Multicultural Books are an important part of an English language learner classroom! My students will use these to help develop their English language skills through read-alouds, discussion, and writing prompts that will help them to use their own experiences and background knowledge. Students are always excited to see their own cultures reflected in the books that we read in school. I hope to provide more opportunities for this by adding these books to our classroom library! This year, multicultural read-alouds will take place via remote learning and also during in person learning!

About my class
