These items will be used to help the students calm themselves when they are unable to do so themselves. Many times students need something to focus on other than what they are feeling at the moment, but they do not have the resources or have been taught the skills to do that themselves. Students will be able to access these calming resources when they are feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. Having the resources outside their own classroom, enables the students to have a central location to come to in order to de-stress without interrupting the classroom learning.

About my class
