My students have art class every day. Sketchbooks will help my students have a place to keep all their drawings for the year. It will be used as a place for them to explore their creativity daily while in art class. We complete weekly sketchbook assignments that the students hand in at the end of the week. I work in a low income district and do not feel comfortable requiring them to purchase their own sketchbook. Being able to supply them with a sketchbook will make a huge difference to them and me!
