Our current hydroponic systems do not align with those used in modern growing. Our current systems provide students with the basic understanding of growing plants hydroponically. With a modern system, students can learn to scale hydroponics from an individual system to methods that can help feed families and neighborhoods. The STEM concepts students learn when growing plants hydroponically connect a broad range of topics and curriculum through one unit. By adding another hydroponics system students will be able to learn how a variety of systems work while still providing fresh produce. This new system will allow students to almost double production while still learning tough concepts.
