Children love to play and create things of their own. The hands-on STEM Centers will allow free exploration and engineering concepts. It will also allow them to create using their own set of hands-on materials. My first graders will use their imagination and engage their minds in many new ways. The sets are great for individual or partner centers. When children are playing and learning together they are also learning a life time of skills. They learn to appreciate others opinions and visions. Learning to work together to come to a solution is a great life skill. Students will use the centers as behavior incentives and during choice time. I hope these centers will help build a passion for all things STEM in our young learners. I hope it will ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for STEM that launches further studies and eventually, a career in STEM fields for our students.
