Help me give my students new forms of expression. During homeroom students have the opportunity to finish missing homework from their six classes or create an art project related to our social-emotional lesson. ​​The theory behind art suggests drawing, coloring, painting, and sculpting can help you tune into and express painful or difficult feelings you have trouble putting into words. Many of my students struggle to express themselves verbally and I need to find different outlets. I would like students to have earbuds they enjoy using. Music ignites all skill areas for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work creatively.
