These personalized tools will allow the students to become more independent and take charge of their learning. During independent work times they will have all of the materials that they need easily accessible to them. Currently, we are trying to keep ourselves at least three feet apart in the classroom, the desk dividers can be put up to create a safe, private learning space. They can easily be moved up to give the students the opportunity to collaborate as well. Making sure students are comfortable and safe is an essential component in motivating them to do their personal best. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they have all of their materials organized around them to allow for better use of independent work time. My students are more effective learners when they have a clearly defined, organized work space. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them the tools that they need to be well organized, independent learners. I know first hand how being organized can positively affect my students' work ethics.
