A book a day keeps the doctor away...or something like that. Students at TDA are in need of more books! We are a small therapeutic school serving grades 4-12 in a larger city district. Due to our smaller size, TDA does not have a library of its own. Books are typically supplied from teachers and borrowed out to students, many of whom cannot afford to purchase their own, nor get themselves to the city library. There are only so many copies of each book, leading to some student disappointment while they wait for a classmate to finish. We would love to help alleviate that by giving each child a book of their own--to read and love at their leisure!
