This project will benefit our students with special needs in our adaptive art class as well as when they participate in full inclusion art classes. These students’ needs vary, from intellectual, physical, sensory and more. With the assistance of teachers, educational assistants and peer models, students are able to communicate their personal goals for their artwork and make it come to fruition. These art materials will not only greatly benefit our students but allow them more options to create independently. This independence during the creative process builds confidence and self-esteem for our exceptional artists.

About my class
