These ukuleles will make a huge difference in my students' education. With the stresses of life and the variety of heavy things that our kids are dealing with at the moment, they really need an outlet for creativity. And not just any outlet, but one that is relevant to them and their lives. The ukulele is a tool for creativity that will give students a lifelong skill to be proud of, to express themselves with, and the chance to succeed and to build self-efficacy through this accomplishment. The ukulele is accessible, fun, has a beautiful sound, and is something my students ask for all the time. I would love to be able to give this to them, especially when they show so much enthusiasm. I feel like I need to strike while the iron is hot.
