Crisp County Middle School serves a diverse student population, including a significant number of students from low-income households. Many students experience reading anxiety, low motivation, or limited access to engaging reading materials outside of school. These challenges can negatively impact literacy growth, academic confidence, and overall school engagement. Our school is a Title-I school, which means we rely on state and federal funds for school resources. Because our school is located in rural southwest Georgia, often our students and the community as a whole are forgotten about.
