There are social-emotional games included in this project request that will be used in small groups to aid in the development of coping skills, self-management, and impulse control. These materials will help my students focus in class and support their development of social communication skills. These items will also motivate some kids to work hard and stay on task to earn their prize from the prize box. The littlest kind of trinket can make a world of difference to a young child. It is important to teach skills in a way that is accessible and fun to get students interested. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card allows me to purchase storyboards, social stories, and other materials for my student on the autism spectrum.
