In my classroom, my students and I run a reading and writing workshop. Where there is play, there is work, and where there is work, there are passionate future authors. Books in my classroom are the glue that holds our learning together. Our classroom library comes to life with each new edition of a book or series of books. Students flock to the bookshelves and rave over their favorites. Students leave my classroom feeling responsible, hopeful, and passionate about their jobs as learners and authors. Through this project, a classroom library full of new material to read will offer my students ample opportunities to be themselves and share their individuality with others. My compassionate students will develop lifelong skills that will make them positive and committed future members of society. I strongly believe in the individuality of each student being at the forefront of their learning. Each student has their different needs and way of developing academically. Help my learners continue to grow as individuals so that they may have a successful and fulfilling life. Help them achieve these goals through reading.
