By providing our students with the athletic gear that they need, our students are able to fully participate and develop the skills they need to compete with other schools. These items will help our students sharpen the fundamental skills they need to be successful athletes. All items have been chosen with a unified vision of student athletic progress in mind. This equipment can be used throughout the school year by all students in grade 6-8 to prepare them for their subsequent years in PE and Athletics. The agility ladder will help students develop and sharpen coordination. The various training balls will help with eye hand coordination for the softball/baseball seasons. The mini cones will serve as guides for the students to follow throughout the various cross-training drills. All of our students at DJS Middle School show interest in our PE/Athletic programs and this project will definitely ignite another level of excitement towards their education.
