This past year has created many challenges for all, but the arts were hit especially hard. Music specifically is a collaborative medium and being virtual made it extremely difficult. There are many limitations in a virtual capacity to create music. Going into this year I feel more prepared with my technology knowledge, but I am quickly realizing that what my district has available to them cannot keep up. I want to allow the students the ability to perform, but in order to keep them safe there needs to be a level of technology involved. These items will allow me to produce a high quality finished product. This is important because I want the students and family to see the value in their hard work.
