When students are upset they need a place to reset their emotions. I want to make my classroom the best place in the school, which will allow students to get into a learning/safe headspace more quickly than if they had to leave or go to another room. My reset station will consist of sand turners, cinesthetic manipulatives, drawing implements, self-help books, National Geographic photo anthologies, and a diffuser with essential oils. This reset station will help my students gain tools they need to help them manage their emotions as they grow through the year.
