My students are already eager to learn, but having fun, hands-on materials makes a world of difference. Once they become familiar with using these materials within the the classroom, I’d like to create baggies to send home to help support their learning at home. Children are very enthusiastic about showing their parents what they’re learning in school. Having the materials in front of them will help with their language development as well as their literacy development. I always like to include parents in as many activities as I can in order to foster the home-school connection.
