I am a first year kindergarten teacher, and as such I have minimal hands on materials in my classroom. When center time rolls around I am always scrambling to come up with creative ways to supplement my students' learning through interactive play. I have a few puzzles, some math manipulatives and I can always print up a number and dice activity on paper, but even my paper supply is limited and it's hard to justify using it for center time. As such, I find that any donation towards fun yet educational games and activities will go a long way to making center time fun and exciting for my students!
The interactive microscopes will get my students excited about learning about our planet and the drill set will expand their knowledge on building and creating with tools. The word games and magnetic shapes will also help them as they learn sight words and discover how shapes fit together to create structures.
Center time in my classroom will never be the same if I am able to slowly add to the number and variety of supplies I have available to my students. Any help I can get in this regard will be greatly appreciated!
