Having the appropriate supplies will support their learning. Collaborative learning and assigning roles to students will help students take ownership of their learning. Students can learn how to engage in accountable talk stems to enhance their communication and learning. This allows for students to talk and teach and learn from each other, and not just have the teacher doing all the direct instruction.
