The supplies will give my students the opportunity to engage with art and creativity as they learn about science. Students retain what they are learning at higher rates when they apply what they are learning to an activity they enjoy or find interesting. My students attend a STEAM school and they have expressed how they want to engage more in art since there aren't any art classes available. Art allows science to become accessible to students who may be reluctant to originally learning science. The stand will help students practice organizing their scientific arguments and help them with organizing their engineering and experimental designs.
