Scented and tactile art materials, such as the tactile liquid letters, light table, scented dough and markers, enable my students with visual impairments and sensory processing disorders to become full participants in fine motor classroom activities. The adaptive math and ELA manipulatives for our daily math, ELA and sensory centers will ensure my students are meeting their goals. Multi-sensory activities provide the best learning opportunities for my exceptional students. My students also need adaptive scissors to work on their fine motor skills to cut paper. My students are exceptional learners.
