These materials will help create a relaxing and inspiring learning environment for my students. The current classroom lighting produces eyestrain and headaches. Replacing the lighting will help students concentrate better as well as inspire them to be creative. The standard-issued bookshelves are dull, sharp, and cold. I will replace them with more functional and open bookshelves. Sandwiched around the bookshelves will be a snack corner and a reading space. These spaces will provide students with alternative spaces for being hence reducing feelings of confinement. Finally, a large array of prizes will motivate students to follow directions and learn that hard work pays off.
