The books requested will support students from a diverse population by providing literature that they can relate to. I have students in my class from different cultures and the books selected are books for them to read independently and have read to them. The STEM activities will allow students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through teamwork and collaboration. They will have the opportunity to be scientist and engineers, while having fun. They will get to participate in experiments, work in groups or pairs, and grow knowledge in Science.
