My students enjoy learning about the solar system. When it comes to explaining the seasons or how the planets orbit the sun, it is tough for them to understand. Help me give my kids a hands-on model of the solar system to construct collaboratively to help them understand how the seasons work. This model will also help them put the different sizes of the planets into perspective, as well as the distance from the Sun. Working together I can help solidify this concept with this hands on activity.
