I am so excited to have my students back in Art after eLearning for so long due to the pandemic. I want them to stay as safe as possible with all of their items labeled and organized. From their masks, art supplies, crayon boxes, easels, to their snack containers. My goal is to be able to make our Art classroom as organized, safe, and as sanitary as possible for all 600+ students so they feel a sense of ownership and independence by personalizing their own manipulatives, environment, belongings while expressing their creativity. I want them to learn how to be organized with all their belongings by having them feel a sense of responsibility by designing and labeling everything with their name on it including their masks. This will ensure that we stay healthy and safe and keep germs away. I would like to provide students with a healthy snack option as my school is 99% free or reduced lunch and students often come to school hungry. Finally I would like to provide a safe environment for students to creatively express themselves using these new supplies.
