Students who have been identified as being on the Autism Spectrum currently do not have resources and supports to address their sensory needs. My project will provide those resources and support student sensitivity to noises as well as sensory needs. By proving support for the students' sensory needs, it is estimated that he will begin to engage more appropriately during the classroom instructional time, have access to the needed resources to support his sensory needs, and ultimately, learn alternative ways for requesting support when needed instead of eloping out of the classroom and engaging in tantrum behaviors.

About my class
