Just as important it is to be flexible in life, it is equally important for our students to have flexible seating for the variety of learning activities they engage in, in our Montessori classroom. Literacy is very important and having flexible seating for reading is as well. It is so important for young children to have grown ups who will read with them. We need cushions for our students to engage in our reading buddy program. We will pair our high school students with our pre-K and Kindergarten students. The cushions will allow us to offer our students comfortable alternate seating options and accommodate the need for extra seating.
