These standing desks will provide my students with the ability to move and stretch their bodies and increase blood flow to their limbs and their brain. Research has shown that standing up helps children access working memory, improving concentration and engagement. It is very important to give students the power to control their own learning environment. By allowing my students to self-regulate when they choose to stand, these adjustable desks will promote independence and responsibility. These two standing desks will provide my students with these opportunities to be more successful in our classroom.

About my class
